Welcome to Troop 876! We are a BSA Troop dedicated to girls aged 11 to 17 who like to camp, make friends, learn, and challenge themselves.

Scouting is all about adventure, family, leadership, and especially fun!

BSA strives to build a better future for your child by teaching them skills they'll carry with them into adulthood.

Our motto - Be Prepared - applies not only to the practical skills your scout will learn, but also the leadership and teamwork skills that will prepare them for the future.

It’s fun, hands-on learning and achievement that puts kids in the middle of the action and prepares them for today – and for life.

The Order of the Arrow Spring Ordeal registration is open for all Order of the Arrow members. The campout will be at Camp Snyder and all hands on deck are needed to make this a great experience for the candidates. We are still looking for Scouts to help out with this years NCAC Cub Scout Jungle Adventure Day Camp at Gunston Hall. If you are 14 years and older and wish to help out for a day or two or the whole week, please sign up here Scouts BSA Troop 876, Alexandria VA | NCAC Cub Scout Day Camp (troop876g.org) so we can submit your names. If you are under 14 and are interested in attending, please also sign up but annotate under 14 in the comment field and we'll see if we can work something out. It is time to register for Summer Camp! We are going to Camp Sinoquipe this year from June 30-July 6. Deposits of $50 are due to camp on Monday, January 15, so please email Christine McCarthy to confirm your scout’s spot by Friday, January 12.
